A WINTER WONDERLAND IN FLEMING PARK - HALIFAX ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Planning a Winter engagement session in coastal Nova Scotia is more difficult than you would expect. The Atlantic Ocean provides an ocean effect coupled with a changing climate and there was a distinct lack of snow in the beginning of this year compared to just a couple hours travel inland.

When Taylor and Fraser requested a Winter setting from their engagement session I was not certain it would be the Winter Wonderland they were hoping for! You see it was January already and we have had very little snow to date! The week prior we had to postpone our session due to lack of snow.

Apparently I just needed a little more faith because our luck changed the morning of our new shoot date in Halifax's Fleming Park. The whole park was covered in a layer of freshly fallen snow that was clinging to the tree branches like something out of one of those Hallmark movies. Add to the mix one great couple and the result is one happy photographer! These guys are tying the knot in 2022 and I am hoping their great luck will carry on and that many of the current restrictions will be lifted for their big day!
